Many people have asked me: "but why don't you make Navizon open so that it could be used by other applications. Well, how can I say that clearly?
It is open!!
I guess we didn't do a good job in explaining it on the site. Maybe we should add a section "For developers" or something.
Anyway, here's how to do it: Navizon "simulates" a GPS output in NMEA format in the output COM port that you define in the config screen. Then you can connect your application to this COM port to read Navizon's output. You can then use the GPS classes of OpenNetCF that parse NMEA data and let you extract all the information you need in your app such as the latitude and longitude.
