Always wanted to have your own GPS but not enough money to buy one? Well, I have great news for you. Now you can build your own, and it's free.
Here's how you can do it:
1) Download and install Navizon on your Pocket PC or Windows Mobile Phone
2) Borrow a GPS device (bluetooth or otherwise) from a friend.
3) Drive around your area with Navizon running on your device and connected to your GPS (don't forget to enable WiFi if you have it on your PDA or Pocket PC phone).
4) Return the GPS device to your friend
Et voila! You have just built your own positioning system that will work in the area you covered. And it can also be used by your friends, family or coworkers!!
Now you can find the closest nearby stores in a click with the "Search around me" button or you can see where your friends or kids are at any time with the "Buddy tracker". But we'll further discuss these features in future posts...
